Strawberry Champagne Cocktail

To make strawberry season even more special, I like to add a touch of celebration with some champagne. Here’s a quick and simple way to make a delightful champagne cocktail:

Ingredients

bottle
chilled champagne or sparkling wine
▢
1
cup
fresh strawberries
hulled and halved
▢
1
tablespoon
sugar
▢
1
tablespoon
fresh lemon juice
Instructions
In a blender, puree the strawberries with the sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds.
Pour about 2 tablespoons of the strawberry puree into each champagne flute.
Top with chilled champagne and gently stir.
Garnish with a small strawberry on the rim of the glass.
